About Ben Archibald

Ben Archibald is a tory contrarian and total Cameroon. He was born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland and studied politics and philosophy at Queen's University, Belfast.

He was elected to the National Union of Students National Executive in 2002, the first tory elected to a full-time position in NUS in sixteen years. He was elected national president of the Union of Students in Ireland in 2004.

He is a former constituency secretary for the Conservatives in North Down, and former secretary of Conservative Future Northern Ireland.
