About Olly Mann
Olly is a freelance writer and broadcaster who appears regularly on shows including Breakfast (BBC1), Lorraine (ITV1), Sunrise (Sky News), The Alan Titchmarsh Show (ITV1) and BBC News Channel. He is best known for his work with Helen Zaltzman, with whom he created the Sony Award-winning podcast, Answer Me This! (answermethispodcast.com), now in its fifth year and firmly established as one of the most popular internet programmes in the UK. Helen and Olly appear regularly on Steve Wright in the Afternoon (Radio 2) and Saturday Edition (BBC 5 Live) to discuss technology and internet culture, and have hosted two hour-long specials for 5 Live as well as VisitBritain's online video series, Helen and Olly's Great British Questions.
Olly is the gadget and games columnist for Reader's Digest and technology correspondent for British Forces News (BFBS), and has written for The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Observer, The Word magazine and BBC Online. As a student journalist at Oxford he won the Guardian Student Media Award for Best Critic. His first book, Answer Me This!, co-written with Zaltzman, was published by Faber in November 2010.
